November 24th: new joys of comfortable slumber

Day 68
Woke around 9am, savoring the delicious new comfort of my bedding. I adjusted my lesson to include more repetition, since Steven told me last week that his kids weren't remembering how to say words from the previous lesson.
After lunch, I took a nap by accident. I've turned the bed into a succubus.
After dinner, a knock at the door. Linda. She was mellow this time, and explained that she was leaving for Beijing in the morning. In order to say goodbye to her (ie, make sure she didn't try to come to the school again) I told her I would meet her at the club at 9:30. She left.
I played piano for about an hour, going through my whole set and briefly reviewing a few Christmas songs. Rose had given me a key, said I was able to play in room 3 on the second floor after lunch. Of course, that time was spent unconscious.
I pedaled to the club and sat with Linda on the balcony, drank Corona and lemon over ice while she played with her phone. At 10:30, I left and she trotted beside me to retrieve her dictionary. At the gate it took the guard forever to find the book which lay in plain sight. This was after prolonged frustrated pointing and shrugging.
I walked her down to the hotel to catch a cab and en route, had to make a WC pit stop behind a construction sign. She laughed at me from the road. I hugged her goodbye, waved, rode off as the cab sped away. Stretched, did Tai Chi, stood on my head a bit, then my bed's siren song called me to its dulcet shores.
